The Problem

Rasa Rasa has come a long way since their establishment and has rapidly achieved the many milestones it has set out to conquer. The team at Rasa Rasa knew that they were successful in keeping their food and prices competitive. However, the team also knew that there was one thing stopping them from achieving more: their long order processing duration.
Recognising this, the team at Rasa Rasa engaged the management consultancy services provided by K&K IT Pte Ltd to identify areas for improvement and possible solutions to their problems.

The Solution

With the assistance of K&K, issues that contributed to the lengthy processing time were identified: the lack of a proper documentation system and the manual handling of the ordering process. To this, a food management system was suggested. Business opportunities were also identified.
K&K then assisted Rasa Rasa with the preparation of their application and grant proposal for Enterprise Singapore’s Capability Development Grant (CDG). With the grant, Rasa Rasa would be able to see up to 70% of project costs subsidised.

The Result

The proposal was approved and Rasa Rasa proceeded with the development and implementation of the ERP system, paying 25% of the actual cost.
The system automated most of Rasa Rasa’s ordering process and saved Rasa Rasa the need to have 2 manpower dedicated to constantly manage orders.
Instead, the system would handle orders received and organise all orders for the staff to review and confirm orders - in just 1 screen. This led to significant time savings.
With K&K’s consultancy services, Rasa Rasa is now able receive and close orders much more rapidly and enjoy a much higher revenue.
